2nd Week Of Genius Hour2/27/2021 So this week was another tough week. On Monday I was able to get about an hour of practice and another hour on Wednesday. On Monday I was able to work on my form because I was told on Saturday by a coach that my form needed work on. This week was a focus on form less on accuracy. Thursday was hard because I was really tired after school and Friday I watched my little brother. So Saturday rolls around and I head to practice and get to go to Archery first. So I finish my first round with a score of 153. My scores for each yardage was 45,43,36, and 29. My next round was a score of 153 again and the breakdown of yardage was 45,43,42, and 23. So this week was not that great and this also gives me motivation to get better.

1st Week Of Genius Hour2/20/2021 So for my first week of Genius Hour my project ran into a rough spot. Most of the week was filled with rain and clouds. So that made going out and shooting my bow a pain. I was not going to let this bring me down. So I decided that during this time I would start setting goals and cleaning my bow. Last year I was in the 150's as an average for Archery. So my goal for this year was to be in the 170's to 180's. So as the school week came to an end I saw that the weekend looked good with no rain in sight. So Saturday I went to practice my bow and shot two rounds of Archery. My first score of Archery was a 165 and the second round was a 170. So I have seen some improvement just by practicing before this. I plan to include some videos of me working on my form and just some shooting as well. On one of the days it was clear I was able to shoot the video below. |
